Why Choose Us? |

What is Retrofit

Retro-fit is inserting double glazing into, or in place of, the existing/original window frames in a house.

Warm My Home has developed the most advanced retro-fit double glazing system in New Zealand. This enables double glazing into your EXISTING wooden or aluminium window frames - without compromising their look and character, and providing the benefits of double glazing.

Where other double glazing or retro-fit methods can replace your frames, our system embeds the double glazed panel within the original frame in place of the old glass, preserving the window’s look and authenticity.

Custom Extrusions

Double glazing panels are sealed and fixed by special surrounds (subframes) called extrusions, which hold the IGU in place. We manufacture our own specially designed extrusions, which allow retro-fitting to windows in keeping with their spatial allowances, colours and profiles.

Extrusions can be coloured to match your existing frames.
